PLACING AN ORDER
select items that you would like to purchase by clicking on the "add to cart" button on the product's page. this will take you to your cart where you can decide whether to "go to payments" (which proceeds to checkout) or "continue shopping." you can access your cart anytime by clicking on "check out" on any of the product pages in the SHOP section. at your cart, you can delete any product and choose your shipping location. you can also enter a voucher code if you have one. hit "recalculate" to apply the code and update your total. once you choose "go to payments" you will enter your information and checkout. once you have completed this process, you will receive notification via e-mail that your payment has been received and that your order is being processed. please note that most items are one-of-a-kind at present point in time. that does not mean that this will not change in the future. unless indicated that more than one piece exists, please do not alter the quantities in the shopping cart to be anything except 1 (or 0 if you wish to remove the item). additionally, due to the nature of the external shopping cart, it may happen that more than one person can order a particular item before i have the opportunity to mark it as SOLD. i truly apologize if this happens and will refund your money as soon as possible.
lastly, all illinois state residents will be charged a 9% sales tax upon checkout (sorry! chicago has hardcore sales tax). PAYMENT METHODS i accept all major credit cards and eChecks through PayPal. PayPal is a safe and secure way to shop online. if you chose PayPal as your method of payment, you will be directed to their site for checkout. if you have an account you can login, but you do not need to create a PayPal account to use PayPal. orders placed with PayPal will be processed immediately. (click on the PayPal logo for more information).
currently this is the only method of payment that i accept. SHIPPING INFORMATION i ship everything USPS Priority Mail, which usually takes 2-3 days for delivery. however, please allow 1-2 weeks for receipt of your order--as i cannot make it to the post office everyday (i will likely go every friday). shipping rates are as follows:
within the usa: $5.00 for first item, $1.00 each additional item RETURNS & REPAIRS i really want you to love what you get from sans couture. if you are unhappy with your purchase, you may send it back for an exchange or a refund--please email me upon receiving the product and let me know that you are planning to return it. the merchandise must be in unused/unworn/perfect condition. it must be returned to me within 14 days of the shipment date. for items received after 14 days, you will receive a refund of 50% your purchase price. shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable. i would prefer not to have process returns because you didn't know if you really wanted what you ordered (it's just me doing all the work!). please email me with any questions or to request any additional info/photos if you are unsure before purchasing. if you have any problems with your pieces and need something repaired, please contact me.
